Angelika Kauffmann, Bildnis der Stegreifvirtuosin Teresa Bandettini-Landucci, 1794
Angelika Kauffmann (1741-1807), Bildnis der Stegreifvirtuosin Teresa Bandettini-Landucci, 1794, Öl auf Leinwand, 128,5 x 95 cm, Stiftung Museum Kunstpalast Düsseldorf

Since the creation of the Kunstpalast in 1902, this place has been a continuous centre of culture.  With the foundation of the Museum Kunstpalast Foundation in 1997 and opening of the newly designed museum rooms in 2001, the Düsseldorf art and cultural scene has acquired a respected museum with exhibitions that are much noticed internationally.  Today the Kunstpalast Museum has become entrenched as a permanent institution in Düsseldorf and throughout North-Rhine Westphalia. As a Public Private Partnership, with a combination of both private and public sponsors and which was founded for mutual benefit, we rely on the support of people in Düsseldorf, the Rhineland area and the whole of Germany who are interested in art. Our large collection with works from the picture gallery, graphics, modern art, sculpture and applied art areas as well as the Hentrich Glass Museum could not exist in this way without our supporters.  Similarly it would not be possible to pull off our ambitious exhibitions without numerous art lovers. If you would also like to support and help us to continue to maintain the high demands we have when it comes to our work, your donations of materials and money will be in good hands!

We would be happy to inform you about ways of supporting us such as  Endowments, donations or bequests.
